STRIPE AND SEAL
Our specialist strip and seal team can restore the lustre and provide a durable, protective polymer coat on your new or older vinyl floor. The process of vinyl floor stripping and sealing removes any previous sealer/wax and applies a hard, durable, high gloss surface coating to ensure your floor looks great and lasts.
Resealing extends the wear of your floors and reduce the appearance of marks and scratches so as to guard against dirt penetration and abrasion.
The floor surface is vacuumed and cleaned thoroughly and a wash of powerful stripper is applied. After the required time the floor is machine scrubbed to remove the old sealer/wax, thoroughly cleaned and neutralised so that it is free of dust, residue and anything else that can affect the new sealer. The new sealer is then applied to the dry floor (at least three coats) and allowed to set. The newly sealed floor will not only look as new again, it will also protect the vinyl surface for longer and make it much easier to clean.
Your floor can and should be maintained between stripping and sealing by ‘spray buffing’. This is a simple and quick procedure using a buffing machine that will restore the gloss to the most used parts of the floor. It is a maintenance procedure and cannot restore a surface that is beyond a quick buff. We will inspect and advise on the state of your floor before performing maintenance or a full strip and seal.
